Dusty’s Lazy Brunch

A terrace brunch invite ? Hell YAA !! *Raising both hands*

It’s the only way we aircon drowned divas know that Dubai is no longer a furnace. Yaiiiyyeeee!!  One of the first amongst many more to come was the Dusty’s Lazy Brunch – and it was AMAZIIINNGG !!

I personally like super crisp reviews so if you are anything like me, here you go:

  • Great Food (really good options)
  • Lovely Ambience
  • USP – A loungy lazy brunch ( but not dull)
  • Value for money – AED 299 including house beverages.
  • Dress up or Dress down – you’ll fit in anyway.
  • Kids friendly
Perfect recovery plan to a drunk weekend! You can even rock up at 10am and enjoy some breakfast from 10am – noon before you’re ready to touch alcohol again.

1 starter + 1 main + 1 dessert with free flowing house beverages @ AED 299 & AED 399 if you choose to add prosecco

Alright, now here are the deets !

Quite living up to its name, this brunch fills a brilliant gap between party brunches and quite family friendly brunches. The beautiful outdoor terrace flanked by water sets the perfect ambience of chilled out yet lively and the lounge music definitely gives us lazy Saturday home vibes – BUT with perks ! You get served *Big Grin* all courses arrive on your table – No buffet, no walking, only lazy – LOVE IT! To set the mood the staff members are even dressed in pyjamas !! Seriously can this get any better! OH wait it did, we even had a live singer who mingled around the terrace moving to soothing mellow tunes.

Staff in Pjs …Soooo cute

Now coming to the hero of the story, two words – GREAT FOOD! The selection is amazing, great mix of dishes of different cuisines, along with some very good options for vegetarians.

For starters we had Lobster Taco, Wagyu Sliders, Rock Shrimp Tempura and Spring Rolls. I liked them all; except the lobster tacos, which was not bad but just not to my liking.

For mains we ordered the Penne Arrabiata, Baked Gnocchi , Jerk Chicken, Rib Eye 109 and Black Cod.The cod stole the show but all dishes were very very delicious. Great flavors and perfect portion size.

Penne Pasta

miso marinated, oven roasted cod fillet with mango salsa

jerk marinated grilled baby chicken with coleslaw and lemon.

For desserts we ordered the Chocolate Fondant, French toast and Candy Station! While one can never get bored of chocolate fondant with ice-cream, the french toast in caramel sauce and ice-cream was quite interesting…BUT the Candy Station was a SERIOUS party on the plate 100/10 !  Next time I’m having just that as a meal…Ha!

Super fun brunch with a lovely ambience and the awesome company of my BAEs. Truly the perfect recovery plan to a drunk Friday night.
