How is it that I’ve grown up in Dubai, been on sooooo many staycations and never even come close to trying out the Sofitel Palm….like seriously !
I’ve even raved about how amazing their Spa – SO SPA is & would rate it the best in Dubai. Yet I’ve never said to myself ” I should come experience the resort for a night”
While I’ll never get over this slacking guilt, lets focus on the positive and talk about how amazing this resort is.
You step in and instantly feel like you’re out of UAE, something I haven’t felt with a lot of beach resorts.
The Sofitel Palm is advertised as a Polynesian island feel resort and it is exactly that !! Sofitel Palm = Ambience on fleek
Every corner of the hotel is so thoughtfully designed, with beautiful lighting and lovely landscaping that seamlessly blend into one another, the hotel is a concoction of so many different elements all put together as one. Check it out (specially the elevator).
Its a stunning STUNNING resort, super spacious with a warm inviting lobby and has the most beautiful pool I’ve taken a plunge in. I stayed at the junior suite which gave me access to the all day executive lounge. I spent 3 lazy days either being a hippo in the pool or walking about the resort, or simply watching the sunset over shisha from the beach side resto & lounge (weirdly not listed on Zomato & I can’t remember the name).
P.S. They also have another pool in a quieter area with slides ( inside kid came alive)

The suites and the apartments include a living room complete with en-suite bathrooms that offer Lanvin or Hermes amenities.
The resort beckons with 360 deluxe rooms and 182 serviced apartments, from Classic Rooms with to expansive Beach Villas with private pools and butler service. You could spend fun-filled days playing tennis or doing water sports off the private beach or relax with a massage. Besides, they’ve got eight restaurants and seven bars and lounges.

Excellent Review – Can you tell us a bit about the food at this hotel?

Hey Rakib
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed reading it.I didn’t try the food at any of the restaurants unfortunately so really cannot help you with that. However we did have access to the executive lounge and the food there was pretty good..Cheers !
